★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If you charge top dollar then the expectation of 1st class fish & chips is reasonable. I got horrible, fat soaked batter and Chips cooked in oil old enough to vote. Staff offhanded and unprofessional. Never again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of the best and i guess only halal fish and chips shop in the northern most Auckland . The crispiest and juciest fried fishes with yummy tartar sauce(its a must) . Good range of seafoods too.. Friendly and helpful staffs with great customer service.. keep up the good work ... cheers

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Last visit here ordered regular chips and lemon pepper chips with extra seasoning. The regular ones had zero flavoring, literally no salt at all, just straight out of the fryer into the box. The lemon pepper chips has almost no seasoning despite me asking for more. Pretty disappointing dry boring chips ?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Had the worst meal ever from ljs today. Squid was so unbelievably salty it felt like eating salt with a spoon and very rubbery in texture. Chips very salty too. Unfortunately had to bin it as it was impossible to eat. Very disappointing and a complete waste of $17. Never again we are eating at this place.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Because I mostly buy from Ljs as their food is simply delicious and enjoyable everytime and so nicely cooked. It's so good that the fish just melts in your mouth, and I really love the squid rings and everything else they make.. ? I highly recommend them... 100/100 for me... ???
