β β β β β Easily the best Samosa I've had for a long time. We were just making a toilet stop at Wellsford and the food looked so good we had to try something. The rest of the dishes on display looked really good as well. We will be back.

β β β β β Curries were not that nice, meat tough, vindaloo was super mild. samosa just filled with potato and no other veggies, rice was good. Onion pakoras were awful dry. I felt rushed making my order and I was totally mistaken by the delicious smell in gas station.

β β β β β I've only been here three times but every time I've had a slightly sub-standard customer experience, e.g.having to repeat my order multiple times, the order being wrong or them being totally inflexible with any slight deviations from the menu. I feel like it is overpriced for what it is (a good $10 more than Spice Lounge) and the curry sauces taste like they are stir-in sauces from PakNSave.

β β β β β The food found to be unhygienic, when the gravy was less I saw them adding hot water to it. Lack of cleanliness, No mask or no gloves wore by the cooking staff. The nan was just made without washing hands. Overall the food was too bad. The chicken was smelly and the lamb was not sufficiently cooked with its curry. It was really a bad experience, we ordered for 50 dollars and it was a total waste not worth for it. I don't even want to give one star for it. Personally, I do not suggest this place for its unhygienic and literally spoiling the Indian curry name.

Butter Chicken Box is delicious and so reasonably priced. A very welcome break from State Highway 1.
We thought it would be terrible because it's attached to a service station. BUT WE WERE WRONG.
If I lived locally, I'd definitely visit again.

β β β β β I live in West Auckland have a rental up in Kaitaia have family in Hokianga and on the way home after a hard weekend, we stopped here for Butter Chicken & Rogan Josh (wish I'd done it years ago) we got home the food was at perfect temperature and u packed and hD dinner, awesome cook, perfect amount of spices and chicken that taste like chicken! It was good enjoyed our meal well worth the wait till you get home ?. Recommend to everyone
