★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Absolutely the worst fish and chips I have ever had. Asked for a steak burger and they served up a greasy, nasty BBQ griller meat patty in a bun. Also ordered a ham and mushroom toasted sandwich and they gave me a BBQ griller meat patty in a bun with mushroom. Chips were soggy and nasty as well. I would not recommend going to this joint. Unless you're a sucker for punishment!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great fish and chips. Fresh and nicely cooked. Good fair prices too. This place shows that expensive gourmet "the best" fish and chip shops are not the best at all. Certainly in New Plymouth anyway.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nicest people ever! They have a new oil and the chips are amazing, all the food is spot on definitely have spread the word on this place. I’d say best fish n chips in town. Having their fried rice which is also amazing ☝️

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Food was really nice when we got it but on a quiet monday night it took 40 minutes. There were only three orders ahead of us but the two staff were busy taking new orders and crumbling fish brought in by a fisherman after we had ordered. They were taking about 15 mins per order for even simple fish and chips.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Fish and Chips are nice but sometimes the fish is so thin you cant even tell your eating fish or batter. Now the reason I gave a bad review. There burgers are not good value for money. I order a steak and egg burger and only get 2 small thin peaces of steak. I asked them about it and they said yes that's your steak.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Everything is always so well cooked. The guy who runs the shop is very friendly and always seems happy to see you. He never puts to much salt on anything and the food is never greasy.
