I don’t go often, but when I do, I can never complain - except maybe if the portions are too big? But then they offer a takeaway container so it’s all good there too!

Cheesecake was average appreciated the complimentary dessert though.
Overall a lovely evening out for dinner.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I once waited at lone star for my meal for about 3 or 4 hours while my party and everyone else ate, I wasn't impressed. I went to lone star for my brother's birthday on Monday, and the waitress was great!! She was on the ball and friendly. My meal was so good I couldn't stop eating and basically had to be rolled out the door.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If you are Lone Star fan then you will love it. Serving size is large and hearty. Too large for me. Location at the wharf is ideal for dining while the sun sets over the water.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Was my second night of dinning, staff are friendly and given we had no reservation we were quick to be seated. I had the spare ribs, 9 of them, with wedges and a lovely coleslaw, I confess, of the 9 supper big rids, I managed 4, but I did eat 80% of the coleslaw.
The harbor view is lovely, and yes I'll be back tomorrow night.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We turned up for dinner without a booking a couple of days before Christmas, and after a short wait we were lucky enough to be seated. The service by all who dealt with us was on point, exceptional! The food was next level, massive servings packed with flavour leaving 3 of us very full and satisfied. I highly recommend the Lone Star Gisborne, you won't be disappointed.
