★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Generous portions. Nice location. Had a dinner here. Service was slow since there were a few big groups but all waitresses and staff worked very hard, especially the girl working at the bar, busy but always with beautiful smiles. If you stay in Gisborne for one night. Here is your best bet for dinner.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place is always packed which says a lot about it. It's pub style food so the prices are very reasonable, but there are also restaurant type dishes too.
I had the nachos which were great and couldn't finish them all there was so much. My guest had a ribeye steak with their choice of sides. Both meals came around 10 minutes after ordering which is really fast considering most of the tables were full.
It would be suitable for families but maybe go earlier as it can get quite loud into the night, it is a pub after all.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have been here several times and its our fave restaurant in Gisborne. The minute steak is delicious if you cant handle a big steak, highly recommend. The atmosphere is lovely, interesting and the staff are welcoming and friendly. 10/10

Gorgeous views over the river and lots of different styles of seating. Love this place. Love the board specials as well as the comprehensive everyday menu!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Good meals at good prices. Nice cozy atmosphere but can get very busy so best to book ahead.
Staff are friendly and food comes out in a reasonable time.
To the person/people that have commented about the 'noise'... this is an Irish Bar/Pub/Restaurant... what did you expect? Go buy a sandwich and eat it in a library if you want peace and quiet!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Is a nice clean bar/restaurant to eat and drink at, staff are very welcoming, helpful and accommodating. They have a very wide variety on their menu and the meals i have tried have been delicious.
I also found the prices of meals wer very reasonable.
Will definitely be back to try more of the menu.
