About Lower Rotorua
Made in the USA - First Instalment Introducing the first instalment of our Made in the USA Collection. These garments were made in 8 stages all done in the USA, starting with the cotton growers right through to them getting in to our hands. In the states this process is commonly referred to as ‘dirt to shirt’.
The cotton has been spun using an open end process which results in a more economical and thicker weave. This gives them that truly distinct American vintage feel (some of you will know exactly what we're talking about)
Another major feature is their construction. Each tee is sewn using the 'Tube T-shirt' method - The body is cut from one tubular piece of fabric which the sleeves and collar are sewn onto. This not only creates efficiency & consistency in the production process but ensures the tees retain their shape (better resistance to distortion and warping over time). This method is also known for fitting comfortably against the body due to no side seams.
To top it off, the garments have all been printed locally here in Mt Maunganui. Just like the inception of Lower, the USA & NZ combine to create a product we think you need get your hands on.
