★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I had an EXCELLENT experience at Lush Puppies. Heidi and the staff are really friendly and they really know their stuff :) My dog's fur was very matted but the girls managed to groom him beautifully without even having to shave it off. You will not be disappointed with their service!

I took my standard labradoodle here 5 weeks ago and wanted to keep her coat long. Lush puppies took on the challenge and got her nice and fluffy. The next day she began to limp and wanted to lick her chest area but couldn’t reach. By the evening she refused to get up and it was a trip to the emergency vets. She had wounds all throughout her chest. I blamed myself as I had said okay to brushing her mattes out, not knowing that it would wound her. Her next grooming session came around and I told Lush puppies about her last experience. They said the wounds were caused from their tools there was no denying that. I said okay well lets not do that again, just shave her.
They told me to pick her up at 1:30, then they rang and said no 2pm, I said okay.. as I was on my way and they rang again to say they still haven’t done her head.. I said no problem I’ll just wait outside till 2:15 pm.
Lush Puppies then had the audacity to say they had been working on her for 6 hours straight and charged me $320….
If they were working on my dog for 6 hours straight how on earth did they manage groom her head in 15 minutes? How did they also groom 15 other dogs?
Its not even a nice groom its rushed… I had to it up as I got home still hair hanging over her eyes.
They sent my dog to the emergency room 5 weeks ago.. and today they shaved my dog for $320?
Yep, daylight robbery.
