★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Booked 48hrs prior to stay and paid beforehand, we travelled 15hrs and 30mins that day to find out that there was no rooms available!!! Lady was extremely rude, wouldn't offer a refund and said its a first in serve basis to get a room. Wish we had seen the reviews on Google before we booked. If i could rate this place a minus 5 i would!!

With a confirmation of my booking & money removed from my account, to find my room has been given to someone else !. So even the 1 star is to much. No where to stay ?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ No service whatsoever, very unprofessional! I arrived appr. 45 minutes past estimated arrival time but had paid for my room in advance. Once someone - who turned out to be the manager - finally entered the foyer to see to me, I was told that previous occupants had decided to stay another night and they had no other room available. The manager then added that I'd better contact booking.com to find alternative accomodation. Manager left without offering any assistance and did not return. I am of an advanced age and was totally taken aback that I was treated like that! I did manage to find alternative accomodation through booking.com who were very helpful but I ended up paying $65.00 more for my accomodation that night!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ No one at reception, when someone finally came down she was rude. Room was horrible, smelt terrible. Bed and pillows were in comfy and gross. Our room opened up to a smaller room that was empty, under construction and paint everywhere. Would not recommend. Ended up staying elsewhere.

We booked online and then when we arrived and checked out our room we found out there was no water in our bathroom for the bath or shower.
The reception lady sent us back n forth to a different hotel where the 'owner' might be and was not able to refund us our money. We didn't even stay there and its been 2 months with no feedback or refund after we spoke to them 5 times about it.
Horrible. Absolutely horrible.
Aside from the room, the hotel itself smells of chain smoker upstairs and there is very visibly large water damage everywhere on the carpets. In person the place is very run down and looks nothing like the pictures online when we booked the room. We had no where to stay that night. Very disappointing and bad service.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We had a 7 1/2 hr drive from Christchurch to this hotel, when we arrived there was no one at the reception, we were made to wait 20 minutes for someone to come. The lady that was there told us they weren't taking bookings and to go elsewhere, we had made and paid for a reservation and we told her this, she rudely said that there was no hot water and we'd be better off going elsewhere, so we did. Fortunately we made our booking through booking.com and they gave us our money back. We were lucky we were able to find other accomodation that night. Was a horrible experience. Wish we had seen the reviews here on Google first.
