★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very professional and their delivery is just as good as their promises. Had a job on Sunday Evening, tried to call several plumbers but no one want to take that job, give a call to Macmillan plumbing and they went to site not long after, find out the leak source and give solution to fix

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My review is shared with that of Sam Smith some time ago. Not taking residential work currently. Perhaps their website should indicate that in the first place. Person I spoke to could do with some PR skills even if declining. Good communication and engagement are basic skills to have.
Thank you for your response below: much appreciated. Two things:
1. The explanation I received was not lacking in communication at all. The point is how it was communicated - short, sharp & brusque in my view. Bluntly, that yr firm was not taking residential business & no explanation offered as to why not. I don't recall an apology. I think it is important to observe that pro-social engagement with a potential customer is a significant business skill even when declining a request. Yr business is very well reviewed indeed. Consider three other plumbers I approached after you. All were very polite, apologetic and helpful when declining me for various reasons... particularly offering to recommend other plumbers who were likely to be available given the holiday period. This was not forthcoming from your firm. I accepted one of those offers, work completed to 100% satisfaction and I would recommend all three who declined me no problem.
2. If you are currently unable to accept residential work, which seems to have been the case for quite some time now, perhaps some information regarding this situation on your website would be helpful ...
