★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Should have zero stars as an option. They wanted more money to give us a delivery time. Then they said boxes were to big for their truck and job would be given to another driver. We Didn't hear from them for nearly a week and they said they were waiting for their auckland branch for more money to pay for delivery. They finally delivered the goods on the truck it was to big for even though it was not too big at all and could easy be unloaded by two people and was made up of several boxes. Avoid this company at all cost.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Bought a new fridge from Farmers that was being delivered by Mainfreight. The fridge arrived two days early which was a bonus! Thanks to Pow. He coordinated the delivery, told us when, gave other details, and included our request to take away the rubbish and the old fridge.
On delivery it was completely different. Two employees arrived. They did not evaluate the space or the best way to get the fridge inside. They were a complete waste of time! My sister and I did 75% of the work while they stood there saying most houses have wider doorways. By our measurements the fridge fit. Instead, we (two women) moved the old fridge out and unpacked the new fridge to get it into the house. Then the four of us struggled for 45 minutes. Shortly after, one announced they were leaving because they couldn't get it in.
Just prior, I'd figured out how to do it but they refused and literally left the fridge on our front door step! As I got keys to open another door one began noseying around our house. I told him off and marched him out.
Sister and I were left to manoeuvre it outside, shift a dryer and washing machine, and to remove a door before successfully planting the fridge in its spot.
There was a complete lack of professionalism and customer service from these two. I DO NOT RECOMMEND them. On calling to make a complaint, there was voicemail or an unanswered phone. Hopefully someone gets the complaint - I'm not holding my breath. We won't ever use Mainfreight again. These employees were inappropriate and did a total disservice to Mainfreight. They need training of how to evaluate a space before moving and customer service!!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Misinformation. Customer service team is not reliable or honest. Customer service team said will be delivered today, and today I spoke to the lady Ashley - she was helpful and said will be prioritized to deliver tomorrow. It's very much misinformation, my stock was sitting for days in Mangere depot and then they had some mix up and is now sitting in Wellington. The customer service team have no say or control over what they can do, they just do false promises. I never actually track any products it just arrives, this one is hopeless. There is nothing happening when you try to track your product. I am disappointed as I had follow up twice and both times I was misinformed with false hopes. If I had a choice would never use this courier.
