About Mainstream New Zealand Ltd
Back in 1992 Greg Haliday was asked to deliver the near impossible – and he grabbed the opportunity with both hands. Greg was perfectly placed to deliver the goods. Greg and his wife Diane went on to found Mainstream with that same desire to deliver on the impossible.
Mainstream has gone from a domestic freight service to a world-class integrated supply chain. Initially a virtual freighting business operating from their family home, they now they have a large fleet of trucks and offices throughout New Zealand.
Their phenomenal growth has been achieved by consistently exceeding customer expectations – delivering on time, in full and at a price that won’t break the bank.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Mainstream are the worst transport company by far for damaging (usually by running over with forklift or similar) goods and will never accept responsibility. No care, no responsibility company! There isn't a minus star above so I had to mark one star. They don't even deserve 1 star!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Poor customer experience, my package has been with these guys for nearly 2 weeks and they haven't contacted me. Their site is not listed on the Mainstream web site so hard to reach them. Had to wait on their phone system for 20mins to find out how further unhelpful they can be - can you post your open hours somewhere. And when i get thru it seems no one has a clue...so why did I have to wait 20mins???

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The company alright, but l gave a one star for the truck driver who decided to run a Red-light in lower hutt. I don't like these people who think it is OK to run redlights. They don't care about their fellow road uses. Personally people who run redlights are low life's.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Terrible company. Accepted a freight job (and payment for it!!!) which they by their own explanation were physically unable to deliver on. Zero communication, tried to charge extra for a delivery that never happened, customer service contradicting themselves constantly, straight up lying on the phone before hanging up mid call. Ended up having to organise a truck myself and pick up from depot - where they delivered a torn up pallet of flooring (which I'd purchased), an electric wok (which I hadn't - and returned) and a box of single serve soy sauce packages (which also weren't mine and I returned). Abysmal.
