β β β β β What a fantastic place for a leisurely stroll or if you are young and fit a jog. I absolutely loved the call of some of our treasured bird life, while walking through the natural bush and well maintained tracks. The people that I passed along the way were happy to say a hi as they also ambled along, what a treasure and just on Howicks doorstep, well worth visiting.

β β β β β Incredible walking track. Such a hidden gem in Auckland. Great for fitness geeks as there's a lot of uphill running/walking to do. Great history too as you will find signs explaining little bit of history between certain plants and how MΔori used to use these plants. Great for summer as parts of the walkways are covered in shade by bushes and trees.

β β β β β Lovely spot that is easily accessible at low tide and best visited via kayak at high tide. Well worth a walk or a paddle to see the incredible views and enjoy the outdoors.

β β β β β Amazing, well kept roads. Most of them through the forest, so great if windy or if the weather isnt good. Beautiful beach at the end, Cockle bay! Dogs love it (on the leash :)

β β β β β One of my fave walks. We regularly do the smaller loop that goes out to the right (prob about 20min) and occasionally do the bigger walk. We walk about 3kms and turn around. You could do a loop but you'd be walking on the road on the way back and would need to consider the tides.

β β β β β Had a lovely walk, turned right at the t-junction, it saids 1hour but time goes by when you're enjoying the scenery, we took lots of photos, didn't make it right to the end but we did get a lot of exercise out of it, as it goes uphill to the lookout then down again.
