Really very worst people. I mean the staff is so bad. The staff has so bad attitude. I am so disappointed. I have been doing tranctions with western union for like 4 years. I know the procedure is to bring the id everytime when u do the transaction but this time as well I bought my I'd. The lady in the counter she was very rude. When I have my I'd with the page open where was my details she closed nd she was acting like she is finding something in my passport actually she was killing the time I have organised myself but seems like she don't want to do my transaction so she asked me your account is expired from western union which was not right. She asked me to get the address detail. She was shouting nd yelling at me. I wanted to report to the higher authorities but I just let it go I went to different nz post ajo they didn't even asked me my address proof. I think the lady there don't want to do anything and she was making these excuses. You guys need to train ur staff. I was affected by this.

Terrible customer service! My partner and I were sending off the same IRD application forms which required identification to be verified. My partner had his check and his passport photocopied with no bother. However the older man, who I was dealing with refused to photocopy mine saying I must provide the copy myself and that they don't photocopy there. He refused to acknowledge that my partner just had his photocopied from another member of staff and that surely he would need to see the original document to verify it?? He then just threw my papers to the other desk without a care in the world for me to leave. I then went to a different branch with the exact same documents and my passport (not a photocopy of it) and the advisor had no problem with anything I provided. Clearly the man couldn't be bothered! I will never be back.

I've usually had really positive interactions with Kiwibank so I was surprised by my experience yesterday: a combative and obstructive staff took 90 minutes over two visits to do the final step on setting up an account. Looks like I'll be going to the Lambton Quay one in future.

The queues are a huge stinker. There's still no progress on efficiency dealing with humans in real life banking. Kiwi Bank is still probably NZ's recommended financial institute.

Let me tell you of my visit to Manners Street today; Upon walking through the door i was scolded for not deviating to the plexiglass screen (fair enough in these times I guess). While trying to explain my reason for being there, Julie let out an "Ugh!" slumped her shoulders then turned away to look vacantly at the traffic on the street while breathing heavily (it's a system for idiots that prevents the staff from assisting). Only looking back when I couldn't be helped?! No greeting. No help. No smile. Fifteen years business for two minutes of that. Well done KiwiBank! I'd say I'm going to another bank, but acumen and etiquette are things you now must pay for in New Zealand (if available).

I read lots of bad reviews about the Manners Street branch (especially about Julie) so I was a bit concerned when I walked in this morning and saw that Julie was at the help desk. I was pleasantly surprised that she is such a lovely an helpful person. She was patience with my many questions and very friendly. Before I left I told her about all the bad google reviews I read. She has no clue at all so her helpfulness was not a result of the reviews. I think customers should give their constructive feedback directly to the bank, and to be kind not to name and shame without the person knowing.

Came to get my bank transaction for the last 3 month. In other branch they just charged me max $4 but here they charged $4 each transaction for each account which is $12. There are less than 10 papers total. Ridiculous expensive ! Will close the kiwi bank account soon! Bye!
