β β β β β Used to walk from Orams Rd every school day in the 1950s often barefoot, not a care in the world. Great memories. One teacher had a strap he called Mister Plonk. He would get it out and tell us stories about itβs world travels, where it had been and how sorry it felt after being used. Sure got our attention canβt think if he ever used it while we were in his class. Imagine it today.......
