β β β β β The selection of wines for tasting was good. Unfortunately the area outside was very open, no shade or umbrellas to make the area cooler.

β β β β β Lovely wines. Beware this is a separate listing to the Margrain cafe- the cafe has different opening hours, so check that if you plan on eating.

β β β β β Really nice outside area with picnic tables and umbrellas. We were seated and served quickly. We ordered a salami pizza which wasnβt great. Felt like it was swimming in cheese.
Found it hard to get another wine and eventually gave up on trying to get the staffs attention and just went and ordered from the front desk.
Really nice setting and worth a visit

β β β β β This time we were there for the food. Very pleased with the friendly staff, great surroundings and prefect food. Reasonable prices. Noted that their wine prices are also great. We will come back again (3rd time) and buy more wine.

β β β β β Been here twice, first time for a tasting and some food. The man running the tasting room wasnβt very communicative, giving very little advice. Was the only place we didnβt buy any wine. The food was adequate, but nothing special. The second time we just stopped by for lunch as we were starving and happened to be driving by. However the waitresses (3 of them) were more interested in their meals than taking our order. So we just leftβ¦ probably the only place in martinborough weβve been we wouldnβt recommend.
