Notice is hereby given for the above meeting to be held in the Den, Massey Community Hall, corner Don Buck Road and Redhills Road, Massey on Thursday 16th December 2021 at 8.00pm to:
- Approve the 2020/21Annual Financial Statements
- Elect 2021/2022 Year Office Holders
- Discuss and approve the following Notice of Motions – revised Rules (1980) of the Massey Birdwood Settlers Association Inc.
“Add the following wording to rule 13… Attendance at Committee Meetings may be by virtual means if it is not possible to hold an in-person meeting because of a natural disaster, or public health order, or a similar reason. If a committee member is seriously incapacitated then they personally could attend the meeting by virtual means using the platform nominated by the Secretary. The Secretary will notify the committee of the virtual platform to be used following consultation with members and the President. If not able to use a virtual platform, the committee members’ apology for absence will be recorded.”
Changed/additional wording to rule 20 “The quorum of any annual general meeting or extraordinary General Meeting shall be eight members, and maybe by virtual attendance if it is not possible to hold an in-person meeting because of a natural disaster or public health order or for a similar reason. The platform will be nominated by the executive and advertised in the notice calling the meeting……”
