MedStrength Gym in Mt Eden provides a boutique experience. It specialises in improving your strength, flexibility, coordination and agility.
About MedStrength
The core of MedStrength is the MedX progressive resistance machines area, where the focus is on safe, scientific strengthening of the musculoskeletal system for the general population, both with and without medical conditions.
Alongside our strengthening area, we have divided the MedStrength facility into different zones.
In each of these areas we have specialised equipment specific to the zone and there is an exercise card to record your progress. Your programme will be designed so that it flows step-by-step through the zones, working on Strength (Functional Capacity), cardio and free weights (Function), Pilates (Stability), Stretching (Range of Movement) in order to increase your health, vitality and quality of life.

โ โ โ โ โ This is a specialised gym. If you have ongoing back pain this is the place to come to. They have gym machines that strap you into the correct position so that you work the muscles that need strengthening. I don't know of any other gym in NZ that has this type of equipment (from America) coupled with the level of supervision and expertise provided by the qualified instructors that this gym provides. Regularly coming to this gym has changed my life as I am now pain free. I

- inclusive, empowering and encouraging atmosphere
- impressive breadth of knowledge and variety of specialties and skill sets amongst staff
- off-street parking and not far from major bus routes
Whereas most gyms take your money and leave you to flounder, Medstrength staff take the time and care to set you up for success for sustainable change/improvement on your journey. They take what could be an intimidating or overwhelming process and make it manageable.
Membership here is worth it's weight in gold! Fabulous establishment!
