★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We stayed here when we went to do the Tough Mudder run in the beginning of November. Christine is the most hospitable host we’ve encountered at a hostel in NZ. She was so kind to us, she even switched over our laundry when we went for dinner! The rooms were very comfortable, my partner and I had a private room (which had its own sink to brush your teeth) and our two friends shared a dorm room (which had access to a wee patio outside).
Christine even took the time to mail us our Tough Mudder headbands we had left behind in our room, which we were incredibly grateful for.
We give the thumbs up to this affordable, comfortable and hospitable hostel! Thank you so much Christine for everything :)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Stayed 2 years ago for 3 months while looking for a rental home, went without a hitch. Happy we had a place to go when we needed. Nice facilities. Very tidy. The manager Christy was very helpful.
