★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Mermaids is my absolute first and only choice when it comes to health and beauty. I’ve been coming to Mermaids for over 5 years and I’ve never needed to go anywhere else. Nadia and Behnaz are extremely talented and professional therapists who go the extra mile for all their clients. I have particularly challenging eyebrows to maintain and these ladies work wonders on me! It just takes one treatment here for you to see just how much these ladies care about their clients. My appointments are always perfectly booked, I’ve never had any mix ups in the 5+ years I’ve been coming to Mermaids. The clinic is always extremely clean and well presented, and the location is ideal - there is a lot of street parking available and an off-street client park too. The prices are super reasonable too. If you want to see a therapist who has exceptional attention to detail, is meticulous in all their treatments and hygiene, and makes you feel relaxed and comfortable... then Mermaids is the perfect choice! 10 stars from me if I could!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have been visiting Mermaid Beauty Clinic for almost 9 years (I have been to one other salon in that time whilst out of Auckland on holiday.) Behnaz offers the best quality Microblading I know of. My eyebrows are always perfect!!! I have referred friends and random people at the mall to Behnaz. People often stop me and ask “where did you get your eyebrows done?” I always leave Mermaid Beauty Clinic feeling cherished and beautiful. Nadia’s waxing and threading ability is second to none!! Coming to this clinic over the years has really helped my self confidence to the point where I use very little make up now (mascara and lip gloss). I love these two ladies and now my daughter does too xx

And was so blessed when I found her, as I have never trusted others with my brows as Im very particular about my eyebrows and the style I like. I now ONLY trust her to do them and I always leave feeling amazing. She is so lovely, warm, welcoming and friendly which really eased my nerves when I had my first appointment. And she is so professional and knowledgeable and open to answering all my questions, I also find she stays very current in new advances in the treatments she offers so I always trust her advice. All I can say is thank you Behnaz you have transformed my brows!!

Behnaz spent a very long time to explain all aspects of the treatment, she patiently answered all my questions. I felt ready to undergo any treatment with this knowledgeable and professional lady. They really know how to take care of their customers' every need. I was amazed at how thorough they were during our first consultation/meeting; they really know their stuff. I trust their expertise and professional advice. The best part of all is the AMAZING work they do, they are true 'beauty artists'. I always leave their clinic feeling incredible and in love with my eyebrows. I am so thankful with their phenomenal service. I highly recommended.

Behnaz is a great artist, she does a great job. But the customer service and good karma/will is debatable.
I booked my yearly touch up, which I normally receive a T&Cs document prior to my booking. This year I didn’t, given that there is Covid I thought there would be room for negotiation/rescheduling.
Turns out there is not with the Mermaid Clinic. I tested positive and did the right thing to let them know. The response I received was disappointing.
They kept the $300, with no room for rescheduling or refund. I was happy to reschedule but I was not offered this until I brought up the fact that was no recent 2022 T&Cs contract was supplied. But the damage had already been done.
I understand that Covid has put a strain on small businesses, but there needs to be a medium for doing the right thing. I could of shown up with Covid and they wouldn’t of known, putting their team at risk.
Going forward I will not be returning nor recommending this business. Showing kindness works both ways for the customer and business.
We are ALL doing it tough. And as a loyal customer wanting to support the business over the years, there are more businesses out there with better customer service.
Behnaz I hope the $300 serves you purpose as you have lost a loyal customer. But when one eventually becomes ten, I hope you realise that it works both ways. Kindnesses and understanding goes a long way.
*Response to the reply - I have given 24 hours notice, as soon as I found out. Those infected who are positive must isolate at home. If I attended the appointment I would be doing something illegal. I don’t think your business is above the law. Out of good will I chose to be responsible and disclose my positive result. This should not be charged a cancellation fee based on no recent 2022 T&Cs discussion or the governments laws of home isolation whilst infectious*

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Behnaz is the best Microblading artist in Auckland that I know of. I think many agree with me as she created a whole new eyebrows from nothing of my previous brow. I highly recommend her to all who are afraid and not sure what to expect. You can trust her professional opinion, I will always do.
