โ โ โ โ โ Super unhelpful, they came up on a google search as being agents/service agents for Kirby Vacuum Cleaners. Contacted them initially for some help to connect the carpet shampoo unit ... telephonist was totally disinterested in any level of basic help or support..
Thank goodness all the supplies such as bags and shampoo can be purchased online... Ultimately very disappointing, as I was looking for a NZ based company to work with.. fully appreciate why online is gaining so much ground

โ โ โ โ โ Our Meile vacuum cleaner packed a sad the other day and I went down to a local shop who tried to sell me new one for $1000.
So instead I went over to Clive Dick's and they gave such good advice and repaired the vacuum cleaner at a very reasonable price. Both people who served me were exceptionally helpful though direct, which I prefer. Thank you for the good service :)

โ โ โ โ โ Just popped in before New Year's for a repair on a broken vacuum hose. Although the workshop was closed, both assistants sorted it out for me at no charge. Excellent service. I've been going to CD for many years now and I always receive excellent service and expert advice every time. They really know their trade and stock a wide range of products. I definitely recommend them.

โ โ โ โ โ Friendly, knowledgeable staff without the used car salesmen pressure. The exact opposite of that vacuum cleaner shop that advertises often, and underperforms constantly. This was many months ago. I'm sad to report that this company has done a complete about face. I would love to mention their customer service, but, there isn't any. Shocking, shocking response, or lack of, to email and phone requests. Ignore most, promise the world to some, but then totally underperform. I can not remember worse service from any company I have ever dealt with.

โ โ โ โ โ They should do a course on customer service. The guy I dealt with was not interested. This shop always had great customer service in the past but must have new owners now.My recommendation is to stay away I will be going to Godfreys from now on...who were also a lot cheaper.
