★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We camped here last week with 3 kids in a tent during the school holidays. Facilities are excellent, especially the bathrooms. Tony is a very friendly and thoughtful host. The weather was pretty nasty one night and he came around checking to see if we were ok.
We know it's a tough time with government restrictions in place, but you are doing a great job. Keep up the great work!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We stayed in a campervan and Wow...what a truely amazing feel this place has. Big space for the kids to run around...dont be fooled by the pay showers. For 50 cents they are superb. And they are clean and tidy and new. The kitchen has everything you need including pots pans and utensils. The huge hall has 2 pool tables 1 tabke tennis table a fooze ball machine. 3 couch settings. And an amazing fire that heats up the whole room. If you want a truely amazing family fun place to go then this is it. Oo yeah and the owners are so friendly.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The snug "Pod" accommodation was a fun experience ike being in The Lord of the Rings. Very well supplied with linen, toaster and jug and cutlery. Heater very efficient.
Walking distance of 5 mins to village centre and 5 min drive to hot pools.
Large well appointed communal kitchen, lounge with good size TV. Pool table etc.
Excellent hot water supply in shower.
Only drawback was outside trip to loo in the night but the night sky here is not to be missed.
Friendly owner.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Stayed for a couple of nights. Owner/caretaker was super friendly and welcoming. Stayed in one of their cabins (mt Hutt on to be precise). Outside could use a bit a bit of paint but we were a bit shocked by the inside..... didn't expect it to be so good. Clean and tidy with everything we needed. They really should put some photos of the inside on their websites. You wont be dissapointed.

A large building on site, with kitchen, lounge, TV, fire, pool table etc. Great for a group to gather in the evening. Walking distance to shops, restaurants and hotels. You won't regret booking in. ?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ What a cozy, pleasant, clean, quite environment to relax and enjoy. Nested in the beautiful Methvan town with adjacent farmland. There is a huge lounge with multiple entertainment items, nice communal kitchen, very nice warm showers and different accommodations of your choice. We opted out for a self contained cabin for 8 days and we had the best time in our life. Our kids thoroughly enjoyed the time playing, reading, and meeting amazing people. The owners Darren and Rhonda are the nicest people you can find and are very helpful with anything you want. There is a nice fireplace and a kids playground as well. Quick walk to town and nice restaurants around. Highly recommend to have relaxing time at Methven Campground.
