★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The shuttle from Christchurch airport to methven was great. Then we got the shuttle to Mt Hutt each days which was very comfortable and at a great time which gave us max ski time.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It is the best way to go up to the mountain. Getting chained or parking is not necessary. The staff is extremely kind and sweet.
The new version of shuttle tickets has more information for guests' convenience. The improvements are good to see. 100% recommended !!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Hands down the best way to get up and down from Methven. 7 days a week, two bus times each morning and afternoon. Dropped off right next to the entry (a real bonus on the busy days). Very good drivers with experience on the winding road. Felt very safe. They have multiple pickup points from around the town and the price is reasonable.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Full disclosure, I have no connection to Methven TRavel and yesterday was the first time I have travelled with them. If I could give them 6 stars I would. They are fantastic and very accommodating. I needed to get to the airport for a 7pm flight and they put on a service just for me to get there in time. I couldn't have done this trip without them and I can't thank them enough. Very friendly and super professional. They really deserve all the success in the world. I will definitely travel with them again.

They are so swift at handling any travel related issues, changes, answering questions, prompt reply with zero wait time. Super friendly drivers and receptionists, they are also super friendly with young children. Couldn't ask for more for a business as such. Couldn't recommend higher.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We used Methven Travel for around 20 days over the season and found them to be fantastic. We have a motorhome and stayed at the Methven Campground so we were able to arrange pickup just across the road. Excellent communication throughout from office staff (Jody is really kind and patient) and special thanks to drivers Trevor and Greg for getting us up and down the mountain throughout the season safely and professionally in some pretty challenging weather conditions, always with a smile and a kind word. Would definitely recommend, great value for money and their vehicles are better suited to the drive up and down the mountain road then others.
