★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The only positive about the place was the speed at which they put out our “ribeye” steaks. They definitely weren’t ribeye, more like a thin chewy rump cut. The veges were bland & tasted like they had been microwaved a minute before being plated.
Should’ve gone to the Brown pub but the food processor I call my son couldn’t wait for 7 minutes until the chef came back. It cost over $60 to satisfy his hunger til we got to Christchurch

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We we a group of 4 seated at a table for lunch. Menu sounded very nice, our food and side sauce choices, we found quite bland for us. The food was cooked nicely.
The service was great. Our food server was a great guy. He forgot to put thru an order for a dish. He was really apologetic. We didn't mind, these things happen. He got it sorted and out to us. Was extremely noisy with a roudy large group right beside us to the point we couldn't hear ourselves talking but at same time, hey I realize we were in a pub.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We chose Blue Pub as at 3pm on a Sunday it seemed to be all that was open. Friendly staff, and accommodating for our fussy girls. Great food deals, free meals for under tens I think it is, when adults eat a meal. So all in all nice place, great offers. And average pub grub.
