★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Good look out point, we were able to find parking easily. Gardens were beautiful (heard during Jan/Feb it's more beautiful as the flowers blossom). Unobstructed view of the sky tower in the back drop. Must do on the way to Mission Bay.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautiful well maintained park overlooking mission bay. Splendid flowers and greenery looking to the most spectacular views that Auckland has to offer. Quiet and screen. Toilet block if your caught short and a lovely cafe that will be swamped come summer. A nice place for a picnic.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Have loved the views (from Bastion Point) for a few decades now. & I still enjoy the occasional visit... Awesome place to fly a kite as you can get really High, which makes kite flying a lot more enjoyable... Twenty past four is a great time, for this... ???

This place will always hold a special place in my heart.
In May 2019 it was the last place I took my beloved Dad before he passed a few short months later.
Returned only recently due to Covid and a slow healing broken heart.
It seems to be even more beautiful now.?
