Goddess of wisdom and handcrafts who Ovid described as the “Goddess of a thousand works”, Minerva is a bright cheerful shop with friendly and knowledgeable staff led by Anne Scott. A former librarian and founder and editor of New Zealand Quilter magazine for 25 years, Anne’s contribution was recognised in 2018 when she was made a Member of the New Zealand Order of Merit (MNZM) for services to quilting.

They have unusual magazines which I love. A heater going in Winter, Welcoming Staff, fabulous.? books.
And I never get out of there under $60. I love that place.
