★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is a bit of a hidden gem, I'd been driving past it for years and didn't realise it was an old Pa site until it was mentioned during a recent Waikato River cruise. This is a small well kept park with good signage explaining the history of the Pa and carvings etc. There is a good view of the river and the city on the other side.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Noticed, that in the inner sanctuary, looks like some of the trees have been cut down. Lying on the South and North side of the inner sanctuary. Left to harden and dry. To be used? My assumption..for Carving perhaps. ???
