★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautiful park. Has a play area for kids. Nice place to walk your dog. I got a fish and chips to go and brought it to the park with me, because fish always tastes better with a waterfront view.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Parana park is an amazing gem near the heart of Hamilton city with playground equipment for the kids, easy access to the mighty waikato river, bird aviary and several beautiful remeberence memorials to our fallen war hero's. Would recommend for a perfect lunch out with the family with picnic tables on site.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great place to visit. Great river walks and cycle paths. Great memorabilliar next to cenotaph. Wonderful flower gardens and a preserved steam boat from early times. All worth a visit.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Lots of cute little secret garden paths ways. Surprisingly quiet even though it is right next to busy road. Well maintain small gardens. Semi enclosed kids area recently remade with creative playground equipment.
