★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I want to share a lovely experience and reccommend you use them for your small repairs. I have been using their services for years both Nelson & Richmond but this was the best moment. This weekend my son lost a tiny nut from his tech deck miniature skateboard model. I figured to go to Mister Minit. When we turned up he was head down busy making repairs for another customers item. No he didnt acknowledge us but we understood that as he was busy and keeping in mind the items these guys work on are delicate and require attention. As he worked a number of people started lining up and i started to wonder if we should bother him with our tiny job. Anyway he finished his job and asked how he could help. I embarrassingly showed him the toy and asked if he might have the nut. He considered it and smiled and said yes he just might. Out came a jar of tiny screws and nuts and pliers and he got to work, it wasnt quick as it was difficult but after a few minutes he got it done. He asked if he could take a photo as it was an unusual job for him and was clearly happy to have fixed it. I offered to pay but he said not to worry. I will definitely use them again as i need a new watch strap fitted soon and its the only place id go. Thanks Mister Minit Nelson you made my sons day. Great service. Ive read the other reviews and "you cant keep all the people happy all of the time". Keep up your good work.

This guy obviously skipped the class on people skills and kept three of us waiting for about 10 minutes without ever even making eye contact or acknowledging we were there. He changed a watch battery for me and less than 2 months later it has died. Don’t have the receipt and even if I did I wouldn’t go back! Terrible service.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 18 weeks for a basic shoe sole repair...
I took some shoes in for repair in May, hoping to have them repaired so I could wear them in winter. I was told they would take "a few weeks".
They took about 18 weeks to be repaired. That's almost 5 months. Winter had long since passed by the time I got them back in September. We were in lockdown for only four of these weeks.
It was only when I visited every week that they finally got finished. The final repair job was of a good quality.
There was not even the hint of an apology.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Needs to keep his raging to himself. Apparently throws out customers not wearing a mask if they don't immediately explain themselves or show a mask exemption. I didn't need to hear all his angst, just wanted a key cut.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I will never shop in this store again. I was asked to wear a mask before even being asked 'how can I help' When I told him I had an exemption he did not believe me as asked to see it. He said so people say have an exemption when they don't I nearly walked out of the store. I was so angry I could not remember my pin number. I did not want to get into a confrontation. He had a mask over a beard. Which everyone knows does not protect anything as there is no seal around the mask.
