★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If they need to order anything it takes forever and need to be followed up. Then kept on the phone waiting for ages so I asked to be called back and calls never get return.
Administration in the background would seem to be reviewed.
The item is in stock at the suppliers some 20km away and still no sign of it 10 days later.
The retail (shop) staff are helpful which is more than can be said with the trade staff. I gave feedback providing my cell # again all to no avail.

Well apparently the suppliers dispatched the item the next day after ordering.

Must have been at Mitre 10 for 10 days. Moral of this: experience keep asking where the special order is Mitre 10 told me several times they were waiting on the suppliers only when I checked with the supplier was the facts revealed.
still no reply to date to various emails sent to perchasing and customer service.

Generally this is a very good store and have been helpful in many ways. In view of this the star rating applies to this experience.

Improve your systems for special orders (this is the second time I needed to chase an order strangely both plumbing items)

Call from the duty manager to discuss the problems encountered. He is going to discuss with the staff members.
Good result in the end, but boy did it take some effort from the "customer" well done Mitre 10

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I want to share my experience, I visited last week to buy a plywood and after the selection of plywood I asked them to cut it, I asked the team member about how I will pay like whole plywood or how much I want after cutting.
He gave me a piece of plywood what I asked and I paid for that and she charged me for full plywood when I asked her she sent me to another counter. After discussion on second counter she said I suppose to get the docket from outside where I asked to cut the plywood, when I asked him about docket he said I suppose to buy the whole plywood I said thats fine I will take the whole sheet and I saw that they stick price on left over sheet. How they can use different statements about same stuff and earn twice from same thing.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It has been a while since I have been here. Love it. It is clean and spacious and so much more than just a tool place. Was looking for saw horses had to ask staff. They are more than happy yo help. Saw a very cute table and chair set for Miss 2. Will have to go back.
