β β β β β Yes there is hand sanitizer as you walk in, posted i hadn't seen any but it was there, aplogies mitre10 masterton. Not busy found what we needed, customer service person was great, gave good advice on what we needed for the job.

β β β β β Great place, bigger than the ones coming down from Naiper and easy to park with a motorhome. Lovely staff and who went out of their way to help us out. Easy parking and easy access for disable people with walkers or wheelchairs.

β β β β β I have always found the staff helpful and willing to assist. I also needed a spare part which was not in stock and had to be ordered from a supplier. My details were taken and I didn't expect much to come of it ...to my surprise the part was ordered as promised.

β β β β β We decided to purchase this Goldair Wall Heater - on special for $169 and a smaller varsion $109. When we took them to the counter, we were served by "Karen". We were asked if we belonged to the "gardening club".... (???).... no (odd Q we thought.... we were buying HEATERS. Karen advised total was $308. We explained the larger heater was $169 on special. We were sent back to get a photo... (10 days after an invasive knee operation, that extra walk was painful). Took the photo back to Karen.... we had to join "the gardening club" . Tried to this online - wouldn't accept my correct email address... Karen tried on her till.... nope. Frustrated, we put the heaters back on the counters and advised we would leave them. Karen called a supervisor and had the heater discounted. MITRE 10 - If something is on special, don't make customers struggle to buy it at that price. That only LOSES CUSTOMERS!!! PS Karen saved the day, and retained loyal customers. Thanks Karen. PSS CAVEAT EMPTOR.

β β β β β Wow, yesterday on a public holiday - I called for some help with a garden fence project - Sally immediately had me at my ease and in a few minutes she had it all sorted out. We collected the materials a hour later and the whole process was very quick and even enjoyable. My son and I were so impressed with the service and we hope that we come across similarly with our own customers! It seems to me that Mitre 10 opens to suit its customers while the other suppliers operate at hours to suit themselves - much appreciated.
