I was wanting some help and advice with changing the roof on my existing verandah /pagola which Stratco installed prior to me purchasing my present home.. I had been given contact details of Steve, their salesman by a builder. After contacting him explaining what i wanted. He suggested that he would look up when the existing verandah was installed to get the dimensions and then would send me info on a product he recommended would be suitable plus a quote to change it. I was very impressed with the service but that was short lived as 10 days later I hadn't received anything. I phoned again leaving a message with my details. Still no acknowledgement another10 days later. I then phoned the office only to be talked over and informing me they were very busy. He then said he would speak to Steve and get back to me. Two weeks later. NOTHING! I am very disgusted in their lack of service but more importantly their attitude to me. I do not understand why but will never deal with them again or recommend them

We ordered a 3m x 3.8m shed which arrived early and was professionally constructed with no hassles. Very happy to recommend their prompt, friendly service!

In mid October 2021 I inquired about a carport. Stratco advised it wouldn't be ready until 15 December. I decided to order it even though it had such a long lead-time. On 15 December I called to ask when I could pick it up. They said it wasn't ready but would be before Christmas. On 20 December I rung for an ETA for pick-up. They said they'd get back to me. They didn't. So on 23 December I called again and they said they would txt me when to pick it up. They didn't. On 24 December I called to get an update. The phone message says they are closed until 17 January. I guess they'll start thinking about making it after that. Very very unimpressed.

I needed to obtain replacement runners for a garden shed (old shed, not Stratco). I dealt with JB in Christchurch office - JB was extremely helpful (despite fact it wasn't a Stratco product I was trying to get replaced). He was unable to provide what I was after but gave me a couple of names to contact for potential solutions. Originally I hadn't had any response at all to 2 e-mails I'd sent via online message service (which was pretty poor customer service), but once I rang direct & was put on to JB, he was super to deal with. Thank you JB.

The worst experience I've had to endure from any company. It first started with the unprofessional unfriendly not very helpful phone reception to start the process of ordering a tool shed. Just thought she was having a bad day so didn't worry about until I ordered a tool shed online in October 2021. I didn't get any confirmation of the order until I rung the office. I asked for a delivery date and was told week of the 17 Jan 2022, along time to wait. I was told to pay 20% deposit and remiander before delivery. The invoice that was sent was a photo copied receipt and a bank deposit slip. So 21 Jan 2022 contacted a person from the company and they then mentioned that they were waiting for the remainder of my payment. My frustration was at peak now as I didn't have a date of delivery, so how can I pay the remainder if I don't have a delivery date. Mentioning that in an email and voicing my concern that a full payment for a job that hasn't been completed yet is unheard of. We are still waiting and not impressed with the lack of communication and how lack of professionalism from this company.
