Mobile Welder - Mike Thompson - Tauhara
Originally set up in 1992, this small business has stayed true to its mission statement of providing professional, friendly and personal service.
Early days, the target market was the farm and property owners who required on-site repairs and maintenance. This was achieved with a small mobile welder which was fitted on the rear of the ute and driven from site to site.
Today, we operate from a fully equipped base workshop at 8 Manuka Street in the Tauhara Industrial Park. We made the shift from the country workshop in Acacia Bay at the end of 2015 after a 21 year stint in one place. The foundation of our work currently is in Structural Steel. Our customer list now includes the professional builders where we provide the labour to supply, fabrication, delivery and installation of steelwork for houses and commercial buildings. Along with construction, we also have a mix of customers, including, transport companies, home owners and holiday makers.
