★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Best ever DOC motorcamp.Very clean hot showers $1,spotless kitchen with heaps of cookers, tables, bench space, sinks.
Need your own cooking utensils etc.
Shop, serves coffee, on site but was limited days after we arrived so make sure you have everything.
Huge amount of room for caravans, campers & tents.
We stayed away from beachside as was full when we arrived.
Lovely bush walk on site.Also 2 hr walk in bush to Aussie Bay.
Anakiwa a short drive away, so can do part of Queen Charlotte walkway.
Rental kayaks & bikes down the road also.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great powered lakefront campsite with amazing views. The toilets and showers were clean with plenty of space. $1 Coins are needed to use the shower. We enjoyed our stay :)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Loved this camp, the office man was a bit grumpy as we went in before 2pm, i had booked on line and went to the right site number! Missed the sign you must book into the office first, so got a $10 fine

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Truly relaxing place, the only noises you will hear is wildlife and people having fun. Good, clean facilities that aren't too far from any of the sites, plenty of taps with clean drinkable water.
We throughly enjoyed our stay and would love to return.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great spot in the fabulous Marlborough Sounds. Kids loved swimming and paddle boarding in the bay. Staff in the camp office/store were very friendly and welcoming even though the campground was busy and at capacity. Great spot, highly recommended.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A DOC camp that has a shop, and permanent managers on site. lovely welcome and a great spot along the lake front. great swimming high or low tide. great for beginning or ending your south-island road trip. had good mobile reception (latest ferry info) and amenities where all brand new. Would stay here again, but be aware with this being set up as a business kind of campsite, you pay a little more than a un-maintained DOC camp.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ What more could you want? Beautiful views, friendly staff, great facilities and huge ice creams. Yes, it's a busy camp, yes it gets a little noisy but a really really lovely spot to camp. The ground was a little hard so make sure you bring a good mallet if you're tenting. Enjoy
