Licensing options for the new regime
We are ready for the new regime and have two options for advisers who wish to join Mortgage Link: (1) Operate under the transitional financial advice provider (FAP) licence of Link
Financial Group Limited, or (2) Join Mortgage Link under your own FAP. Either way, we are ready to help advisers thrive in the new regime.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We met with Charles by chance some time ago, but decided to call him when found out how difficult it is to deal with the banks directly.
They have a lot of questions and very slow response in communication. Bank managers are difficult to get on the phone and a lot of time on holidays or out of the office .At some stage we felt desperate and close to give up.
But since we gave Charles a call everything started to move forward. He helped us to get all the papers ready and knew exactly what they wanted. He worked together with the lawyers and real estate agents. As an ex bank manager himself he saved us a lot of stress and time and finally we got there - bought our investment property.
We highly recommend Charles to everyone who needs help buying real estate.

Their professionalism, generous (and honest) advice and availability for discussion has made us very relieved to have opted to use their service, rather than attempt directly through the banks.
Our lending situation was unusual in a number of ways, including fixed term employment and a new business, one first home buyer and tenants in the house under contract. However, we were confident in our ability to service a mortgage and Charles and Philip gave us a chance to explain our situation rather than turn us away at the door.
Charles and Philip both excel in customer service, while the lending industry is increasingly losing its human element. We found it exceptionally valuable to be able to pick up the phone and talk to another person and receive a response to emails in minutes rather than days, as it so often has been in our experience with banks. They also performed very well in collecting all the required documents via video meetings, due to our remote location.
Even down to the last minute, our loan had been approved and the property settled but our client portal was not configured properly with our lending provider. We attempted to fix the issue with the lender directly but they were barely engaged after a long wait on the phone. We explained the situation to Charles and he had to problem solved in a few hours!
At all times throughout the process we felt well represented and confident in securing lending. We were presented with 2 options and were able to choose our preferred lender.
Exceptional end to end service! We couldn’t be more satisfied and could not recommend these services more highly.

From the first meeting with Charles and Phillip, their down to earth approach, positivity, depth of experience and sincerity put me immediately at ease. Their ongoing support and advice has provided no small means of relief in what has seemed, to me, to be an incredibly daunting task.
When the first house I put an offer on fell through as the vendor wasn’t satisfied with the amount, I was disheartened. Phillip and Charles buoyed my enthusiasm right back up to keep searching, and in what seemed a very short time, I found another property that I could picture my family in. This time I was successful and it truly felt like Phillip and Charles were as happy that it had gone through, as I was.
No question I asked at any stage of the process (and I asked a LOT) made me feel foolish, all were treated with the same level of respect. Phillip and Charles really took the time to help fill in gaps in my knowledge so that I was making the most informed decisions I could. Their knowledge of the industry, the market and of the Wairarapa area gave me confidence in putting my best foot forward. With the information I provided, they prepared the application with the banks, worked with them on my behalf to seek the best deal for my circumstances and gave me options on how to structure my loan while explaining in layman’s terms, so I always felt reassured and understood how everything tied together.
