★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beginning of 2021 I called John as my CBR400RR was blowing smoke. John immediately knew what was the probable cause and told me how to rectify over the telephone. He is knowledgeable and very thorough.
I had an electrical issue middle of this year with the same bike and John told me to bring it to him to have a look. Turned out to be a lose battery connection, however John spent time giving me useful tips on the CBR400RR and didn't charge me for his time even though he checked the alternator and battery charge.
I'm very grateful for his help and will soon bring my Vespa and CBR400RR to John for a service.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I Bought a Cbr1000rr and took it on a first proper ride. Five minutes into the ride the bike ended up breaking down on me. This was at approx 7am on Saturday...
One call to John and he was on his way.
Even though the shop was closed, John picked my bike up and Towed it at a very low cost.
He then worked quickly over the next few days and replaced the battery, gave me a full Valve clearence service and found and fixed the problem, he also fixed up a bunch of minor issues involving the brake light, gearing, bike stand and more, free of charge.
When I got my bike back it was in perfect condition and I feel safe riding it knowing it has gone through his inspection. The cost of all of this was very very reasonable.
Safe to say I have never had such a pleasant experience with a motorcycle mechanic and I know I will from this day only ever take my bike to John's Shop.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ John is known across Auckland as a bit of a guru, each time I have met him I have been impressed by his vast skill set, knowledge, extensive network base, great pricing and superb turn around times.
Worth a call and a chat for all projects as he can do just about anything in-house keeping costs down and time to completion to a minimal.
