★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have enjoyed coffee in many places in Australasia.
This place has the worst. The service feels abrupt and a bit guarded.
Would not recommend for tourists, but unfortunately, you have no choice with that location.
I gave them a keep-cup, they didn't wash it properly, and there was a hair of the staffmember's stuck to the brim.
I wanted to go back and complain but I was a bit afraid of making a scene so didn't bother and had tummy problems approximately 36 hours later.
Would not recommend their coffee while the somewhat grumpy lady is at the counter, maybe a different staff member and something better than the nastiest instant available masquerading as real coffee is probably what's needed.
I literally tasted a dislike of the job, a dislike of the customers, and a resentment towards being trapped.
Whoever that was needs to set themselves free and see a bit more of the world.
Though maybe they were just having a terrible day, I don't know.

In Mount Somers so I was very happy to see it. Lots of variety of different things to make a meal with. They even had an avocado although fresh veges were limited as you’d expect. They also have ice cream in a cone as well as in the chiller. Store also acts as a post shop if there’s anything you need to send. Staff were very friendly!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Love this place. I never fail to call in and grab a coffee or icecream whenever in the area. They also have a few locally produced items on sale, eg my Somers honey, locally made soaps and creams. The staff are friendly and have plenty of local knowledge.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I dropped my bumbag containing my wallet (with $400 cash) & other stuff I need on a nearby street. When I returned 1.5 hours later it had gone.
I asked at the store & a local Lady had recovered it. The Store staff then co-ordinated its return 10 minutes later.
Many thanks to all especially the very nice Lady who returned it & in the process got wet in the rain. She then declined my offer to 'make it with her while'.
5 star store, 5 star town.
