A well organised day for our staff of 14 in a safe environment on rafts down the river, we all had a fantastic day with lots of laughs. Followed by a generous yummy lunch. Thoroughly recommend!

Cute campsite set in the mohaka valley and mountains. Gravel road very steep in places. Showers free and very powerful and warm. Lovely place to wake up in the sun or fall asleep under the stars.

Had an amazing experience with Dee on a 3 hour horse ride. She showed us some amazing spots, took the horses for a swim. Dee's love for the animals is inspirational.

Absolute cracker of a place! Sprawling grounds with a variety of different areas means there are loads of options for camp sites. Only five are powered, so recommend booking in advance in busy season. The best bits: - amazing outdoor showers behind the camp kitchen: has hot water on demand and fab pressure. There’s also indoor showers, but we didn’t use them. - one of the best river swimming holes in the the beautiful Mohaka River. - fabulous and welcoming hosts who made us feel exceptionally welcome and had time for a chat. - there is a bar and restaurant - not open on the weeknights we stayed as the owners needed a break from an intense busy few weeks over Xmas and New Years ☺️ - absolute quiet and peace; the valley setting meant it was a haven - Loads of activities on offer from rafting to horse trekking. Bits to be mindful of: - the stand under the outdoor showers is just pallets, so a bit precarious in parts. Tread carefully. - Bug screens and repellent needed! It’s all nature here so insects abound, especially at sundown/dark.
