★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is an awesome place for a family holiday. We extended our stay by a day because we just didn't want to leave. We did the horse trekking with Rob which was excellent and he took great care of our first time riders. They enjoyed it so much they rated it higher than Splash Planet. The swimming spots are great. Walks up the river fantastic. It was a great experience seeing the milking and riding on the ox driven cart. The pizzas are fantastic. Our favorite is the meatlovers. Other campers were great too and our kids made some great holiday friends at the playground. All in all the best family holiday for us thus far! Thanks to all the staff for your hospitality and generosity. We felt very well cared for.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Brilliant camp ground, great facilities and spotlessly clean. A fantastic time was had by all (the pizzas were divine.). Highly recommended for families or people wanting to spend time on the Mohaka.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This was our 4th time horse riding at Mohaka River Farm and each time it has been amazing! Fleur our leader does an awesome job teaching us all the tips. We will return again soon thank you. Highly recommend to all looking for group horse riding.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We came to stay at the mohaka farm for two days. It was a place with a lot of enjoyment and fun as we came from the busy setting of Auckland. The farmhouse and nature were a great experience. We were amazed by the stay, the farm animals and the beauty of the river. The staff is also very friendly. My daughter drew a photo of the fantail cottage where we stayed

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ To say this place is stunning doesn’t do it justice, you have to see it to believe how beautiful and majestic it truly is. We went for an amazing 2hr horse trek, all of us were beginners but after instructions from thee most lovely guide Fleur we were confident in our ability and lost in our beautiful surroundings. The horses are so well trained and so placid, you can only imagine the amount of time and care that has gone into these beautiful animals. It was the most amazing Mother’s Day!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Awesome weekend retreat if you're into nature. The Mohake river runs through this awesome property and all ways of camping is available.
Children can see goats, sheep, horses, cows, ducks and much more. Even the camp cat is pretty friendly and will lovingly take some food off your hands without begging.
Ablutions are clean and there is enough firewood for a great fire to gather around.
Will definitely visit again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Couldn't believe we had been driving past on SH5 for years and never known the campsite was there. Facilities were fantastic - best camp ground showers we've ever used, and the location couldn't be beaten.
River was beautiful and deep, plenty of swimming holes to choose from.
Staff were very friendly, and they offer plenty of activities to keep guests entertained.
Extremely well run campground and less than an hour from Napier.
We will definitely be back!
