About Muffin Break
From a little Canadian shop trying to make a name for itself back in the 1980s to what you see today, Muffin Break New Zealand over the last 20+ years has been passionately doing what it does best – giving people a place to enjoy fresh coffee, delicious food and great service with friends.
Muffin Break New Zealand began in 1994 with our first cafe in Auckland. It was here where it refined its range to include a local twist.
Since then Muffin Break New Zealand’s famous award-winning signature blend coffee, and freshly baked and prepared range can now be found right across New Zealand.
Our overseas footprint continues to grow in Australia and the United Kingdom, taking our total store count over 300 internationally.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have my lunch at Muffin break bayfair every Sunday Monday and Tuesday and have the same thing a blt and a americano the staff are so friendly and willing to help if they've run of blt they'll make one for me I can't say enough good things about Mandeep Winnie and Jeff.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Had a Soy Latte that tasted extremely bad. Doesn’t taste like soy or coffee. I don’t know how they made it but I just had a sip and that’s it. My friend (which been a barista for 10 years) tried it and she said it was the worst coffee ever. She even said it tasted like toilet water ? the custard triangle was good tho. I enjoyed looking at their cabinet. English muffin was good too. I think the barista that day was having a bad day ? Would come back for sweets but not for coffee unfortunately. Got a bit traumatised.
