★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Thoroughly disappointed. Drove from Palmy to take the kids to museum and animal farm as advertised on the website, only to find it has all closed down and is now only a huge empty hall serving coffee and small food menu.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We were looking forward to the museum after going all the way from Napier, but it was closed. As for the petting Zoo, I spotted a pig, a miniature horse and two Alpacas. The food was nice, and the actual restaurant was lovely - large and airy but not cold. The staff were efficient and friendly.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Due to covid, things have changed. Food is served on paper plates and there is no inside seating. Hubby and I were married here 11 years ago so decided to visit the place for our anniversary. It definitely doesn't have the same feel anymore. We had cheesecake which was nice but took ages to come out when there was only a few people there.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It was a cold night and we were the only booking. It was a very Dark night and you certainly need your wits about you driving there. Our friend got slightly lost. No street lights. It was well worth it as the Restaurant has been jazzed up and was warm and homely. The staff were really friendly and the Lady Chef was exceptionally talented with her cooking. I had roast Beef with Yorkshire puddings Yum!! Desserts are all delicious and hand made.
I would love to go again. Perfect for a group booking or a Wedding. One table seats 24.
Book your table you will not be disappointed.
