We ordered takeaway here tonight, and paid $86 for some of the worst Japanese food we have ever tasted. The bento, sushi and gyoza were all cold (even though we had only ordered it 15 minutes before). The renkon chips were soggy and the seaweed salad warm. The rice was watery and unseasoned, and the sauce had clearly soaked into the chicken batter. We had to pull hard lumps of chicken fat out of the sushi as we ate. The chicken miso katsu had cold skin still on under the batter. We eat a lot of Japanese and had expected better given the price and the reviews online. Never eating here again and recommend you don't either.

Always an exceptional meal at Musashi. My family and I always come for lunch for their zen meals and it never disappoints. Service is friendly and food comes out fast! Note, make sure you book ahead!

The $20 corkage fee of $5 per glass for 4 people for 1 bottle of wine is too high. My understanding of corkage is per bottle opened. Soft shell crab was not so great, felt it was deep fried for too long. The squids were hard as over cooked/fried. The restaurant floor was dirty with food drops from previous customer. Overall an interesting experience.

Very popular place which is a very good sign , food is well made and presentation is of top quality even for a take away meal. Keep up the good work my partner loves your food, well done. Love the squid and Octo balls, thank you.

Very enjoyable meals. Nice cosy environment. Always seemed to be very busy. It is good to call to book an appointment if you go as a group or family. Otherwise you may need to wait for a while. My family and I came to this restaurant for several years. The price has been steadily increased.

Wanting to come here for awhile. Had pretty high expectation before coming here. We tried the wagyu hooba and also the salmon hooba set. The sides was quite small, sushi was quite small. Salad was underdressed, the soy braised lotus root was good and earthy. Edamame is average, kinda like the store bought mamasan ones. The main attraction the hooba wagyu and the salmon was very salty and strong flavour and not so big quantity. Pretty shame, as the ambiance was pretty nice but the food here is expensive and below average.

We didn’t book our table, because we arrived around 8.40, 20min before closing. Lucky us! Food was incredibly nice, well served and delivered fast. My order was fried crab and marinated tofu, both delicious, accompanied by plum wine. Kids menu is super well served, enough to feed any little hungry soul. Great dining experience, arigato gozaimasu!
