★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Really poor customer service. I ordered over the phone for collection and when I arrived home with the order I realised they gave me the wrong order (just one of the items). I called to rectify and they told me I was wrong and that was what I ordered. They then told me I needed to bring back the wrong order to swap which I did and they once again swapped for the wrong order (again they told me I was wrong) and then used the leftover order to make my sushi. I got home and threw the sushi out because it was below average and not worth the money I paid for it. The chicken donburi was nice which is the only positive I have to say

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice atmosphere, great staff. We changed an order some minutes after ordering and they were happy to change it for us.
Different menu for lunch and dinner(for example katsu curry not available at night) but still plenty of options to choose from.
Fast service and good food.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Food was average. Teriyaki chicken was dry and chewy. Taste like it has been precooked a couple of times prior to serving. Other than that the batter of tempura is too thick. Tempura batter should be fluffy and light. This is dense and heavy. Did not take any pictures as we were too hungry and usually for hungry people like us, everything would taste good but this is seriously average. Would I come back again? Not really.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Our favourite Japanese restaurant in Auckland! The quality and taste is guaranteed. Prime beef is so succulent and the fried rice is full of flavour! The soft shell crab is to die for. Wonderful dining experience every time.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If your not too familiar with Japanese food or have had a bad experience, you yes you! who’s reading this must go and experience a meal made with love. The staff are very polite, friendly and always accommodating. It’s a great place to go out for a casual date or a small friends catch up gathering. Do book in advance that way you always get a good spot.

All three curry dishes (2 fish and 1 chicken) that we ordered were too salty, the meat and pickled vegetables were satisfactory.
Not exactly authentic Japanese, as you can also see from the other reviews...

While most of the dishes are very delicious, I wouldn’t recommend their karaage fried chicken. It was just not Japanese style at all.
