★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I went into the store yesterday with my father's old bass guitar as I needed a case for it so I could take it on a flight. Rusty didn't have what I needed so ordered something on overnight delivery. I left the guitar there and collected it today. He had packed it up for me so it would be safe on the flight, which I hadn't expected. He had even tested the guitar for me and confirmed it worked, which was nice to hear. He went above and beyond, and I appreciated his help at such short notice. Very passionate about his job. Would definitely recommend this store.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place has been my go to musical instrument shop for over 30yrs. Owner back then really cared about his Maori customers and quite often joined us at diff music event or attended Tangi when someone passed away. Today's staff are priddy good.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I sent an enquiry to ask for help with packing and sending my guitar from Chch to Auckland. Leah responded with what they WOULD do and at very little cost. I am utterly impressed with the professionalism and willingness to help me out and make what posed to be difficult task, so very easy. The guitar arrived safely today, packed very well. Thanks heaps. Must be the Christchurch way :).

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Love the layout and all the gear and choice is amazing but the best part is Rusty! The sales/fixit man! He really knows his stuff and is so friendly and knowledgeable I completely trusted his choice of guitar for my daughter! Amazing. So happy we went to MusicWorks and Thanks Rusty!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I took my bass guitar in there. It was well past its best and had heaps of issues. It's had issues since I got it secondhand.
I had a basic fix in mind but received a recommendation on what was needed, which was great. I took their advice and they undertook the repairs.
I got it back from MusicWorks and it's a brand new guitar. Looks and sounds awesome. Worth every penny. I strongly recommend MusicWorks.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Maybe I went in on a bad day. The shop was a mess of stacked cartons and the counter was an utter mess, which made me wonder how the business is run. There was one person only serving and he spent the 25 min I was in the shop, with one person. There was an amazing range of string instruments but hardly anything in the wind section so I moved on to another music shop. I was looking to spend $4,ooo.
