β β β β β My first ramen in Christchurch, it was yum and pleasant. Affordable price, pretty much quick service since order to get food ready. Might be need to change little bit of atmosphere inside the for dine in.

β β β β β Pretty good ramen, but can be better.
Chashu pork is amazing, tender and flavorful, the broth is salty enough to taste but lack of umami, soft boiled egg is done well, but easily ruined by bad peeling skills, karaage chicken is crispy, juicy, but bit bland, it might need more time in marinade. The raindrop cake is surprisingly nice, really enjoyed it!

β β β β β Food quality is ok. Value of the meal ..not sure. price is in between takeaway and restaurant. Service......I can only say uptight Japanese staffs do better. At least they remember to acknowledge your arrival and departure! Only go there for its long opening hour. Will only go if I am desperate.

β β β β β One of the tastiest and affordable Japanese eateries in the city centre. I always try to dine here at least once everytime I visit Christchurch. Love their gyudon, karaage and spicy miso ramen.

β β β β β The standards have dropped, shame because Samurai Bowl a few years ago was awesome, serving size for a bowl of ramen was not what it used to be, probably won't return in a hurry as there are better options, so sad.

β β β β β Always come to have the spicy miso ramen, my favorite ramen in Christchurch! And my partner likes the pork ginger with rice

β β β β β Delicious black garlic (Mayu) ramen with braised pork. Ramen egg was a little thin in flavour but great texture. Highly recommended.

β β β β β Iβve just moved over from Melbourne and honestly this is one of the best ramens Iβve had outside of Japan! Itβs No frills, sure, but big on flavor and these people know what they are doing.. it feels very homely. ? I work around the corner and will be adding this to my lunch time rotation!
