A Little Bit of HistoryThe business was established in Tauranga in 1964. Arthur Naismith owned it for twenty of those years and Howard Jones, current owner/manager for the last 30 years plus. Over this time we have developed and maintained our high standards in the business of small quality motors for property and garden care. Our many loyal customers, throughout the Bay of Plenty, are testimony to our superior products, sound careful advice and reliable service work shop. Amongst others free fuel up, free pre-delivery running check, prompt free pick-up and delivery within the city, free first service check (after specified time), free appraisals for repair or trade in. The right advice from us will ensure that you buy the right equipment for your individual property needs or your contracting work. This is important. The market choice is wide and varied; mistakes made for lack of the right advice are costly. We can arrange home visits to larger properties for advice or demonstration of appropriate equipment – arranged on an individual basis. Words of WisdomCheaper products may seem tempting. β β β β β Bought a mower late summer and use it only 4 times. I had to come back and warranty didn't cover because filter should be cleaned after use every time and noone explained that when I bought it. I use to have a masport mower for over 5 years and I didn't have to clean so often.
Instead laughing they should have been more professional at the moment of selling it. Gave 2 stars because of the young guy who did explain it properly. Otherwise 1 was more than fair.

β β β β β Took my ride on in for repairs ( Blades not rotating), couple of days later all fixed charged $1300, All good. Half hour into mowing lawns bladeβs stopped rotating again, back to the shop where they fixed it and wanted to charge another $850. Because I had already paid the $1300 I refused to pay again for the same job. He never argued back

Their after sales service was amazing, even explaining where to buy the best fuel for my mower and the extra gifts were absolutely appreciated.
