★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We were going to go to Chow, but spotted this food cart and remembered passing it on a previous walk and decided to stop by and pick up some banh mi sandwiches to take back to our room. Glad we did they were great. There were also numerous tasty looking prepared salads.

Microwaving the food is a sign of disrespect not only to the customer, but to the food itself. Destroys flavor and texture.
The bahn mi did not include fresh chilis and none were available on request. To my understanding this is an essential component of bahn mi.
The two stars are positive for the flavor of the curry in the chicken curry, but the meat itself was full of fat and gristle, and I only found a few nice bites. Also found gristle in pork bahn mi.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Their 'classic' is the best bahn mi in the city in my opinion. It's served on a nice and crispy baguette and comes with a good amount of coriander/cilantro and fresh and pickled veg. It definitely delivers that fresh-savory-funky-tangy combo that a bahn mi should have. Fresh jalapenos would be great in lieu of pickled, but that's more of a regional complain as that's a pretty expensive ingredient in these parts.
