★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Food great, new online order policy sucks. They don't accept counter orders anymore so preorder before hand and if you not tech savvy this place is not for you. We waiting 20mints struggling to place order online while sitting in to dine. Imagine placing 10 customised orders, you spend more time ordering then the time you eat.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I had a really bad experience eating here on a recent Sunday afternoon. My partner and I went in around 3pm and looked for a table to sit down at and planned to order using the QR code system. There were heaps of dirty tables with finished plates of food, chicken bones etc. We found a fairly clean one near the counter and ordered online. It took nearly half an hour for the first meal to arrive - they served my partner's meal and we waited to get mine but it wasn't arriving. He ate his meal and then after another 15 mins he got up to check where my meal was and they had forgotten about it. The lady we spoke to tried to make out like we had done something wrong and was very rude and unapologetic. My food arrived 10 mins later. The chicken was burnt and the chips were almost cold. They forgot our drinks which we had to ask about as well and they had no sauce bottles. I asked the same lady for sauce and she looked irritated and said they only had sauce sachets. The kitchen looked chaotic and a couple of other customers came to the counter to complain that their food was taking too long, one man looked and sounded very upset and the staff told him that they had lots of orders and he just had to wait. They also ended up closing their front door because they were so busy and put a sign up saying they were doing takeaways only. This Nandos used to be good but the standards have really slipped. I would be really concerned if I owned this restaurant. We won't be coming back here to eat again

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I wish I could give 0 star, this is second time we went for dinner at Nando’s St luke branch at 8:45pm before closing time 9:30pm and they told us that they can only do take, I have requested that I came from far and I would appreciate if they can let us have dine-in but they said even though some people were sitting there having their dinner. I asked person at counter other people eating too, so please let us eat quickly and he rudely said no. Why they have closing time 9:30pm when they don’t let customers to come in restaurant. I want to escalate this to their higher management but unfortunately, I do not have their details. I would appreciate if anyone have and provide me.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Had to wait outside for someone to seat us but no one came so we walked in. A staff member at that point lazily pointed us towards a seat, no seating us or anything of the sort. We went to order and they didn't have what we wanted. Ran out of ribs. We went up again after re deciding and got told to go back to our table and order with the QR code. We went again as what we wanted wasn't on the online menu. They wouldn't let us order until we refused and told them they take takeaway at the till why not ours. It was so much effort to get served it was atrocious. I highly recommend anyone looking for nandos to go to New Lynn instead.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My sister and I went for lunch today. When approaching the till, We rudely got told to sit at a table and order through a QR code on the table. I sat down scanned the QR code and it came up with a form to order. (Eg: name, address, email, birthday) I just want to order my food. So I went up and said I wanted to order at the till. I sat back down And I noticed a group of elderly patrons sitting and struggling with the ordering system. I let the lady know at the desk as they had been sitting there looking very confused. She then Rudely went up to them and said “you will have to come to the till.” Very sassy. They had mobility issues and it made me sad the way she was treating them. She should have taken the common sense and let them order through her at the table or let them order at the till when they came in. The Food was good that’s why the two star.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The new online order system is terrible and the staff doesn't accept orders at the counter. The first time it was missing the plate that we wanted to order on the online system, so we had to order at the counter (but took a long time for one staff look at us and take our order - he did just because we showed him that what we wanted it wasn't online). Yesterday we went there again and we couldn't order 2 cokes through the online system, so the staff asked us to order partially online and the rest at the counter (unbelievable!). If you guys want to have an online order it's okay, but make this easier for your clients and for those who want to order at the counter and is having a problem with online orders give them the opportunity to order at the counter, as you can see this new system is not working well at all!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I do not recommend this resturatant at all. Very disappointed experience with their customer services.
Serving a bowl of burned black Kamara chips is not good enough, specially when we complain it, the store manager told us this is it, they cooked exactly 3 and half minutes which they are right.
I don't believe any restaurant would say a burned chips with 3 and half minutes is the right cooking procedure.
We also saw other customers’ Kamara chips, is not burned, and we told the store manager about it he just ignored.
That was pure racism.
I was Nando's chicken wings lover before but after this experience, I will definitely not recommend to any of my friends for this rude, discriminate and poor customer service, poor food quality restaurant!
