However, the food was a little underwhelming for its price, although the portion is good. The noodles seemed a bit too soft. Also ordered a shared dish which was a large portion but okay in taste.

And it's consistent. we have dined here more than once and every time food tasted amazing and was out on our table within 15minutes of us entering the restaurant, even if the place was fairly busy... No kidding what comes on your plate is what you see in the picture on the menu , And the food makes your mouth water with every bite and want more it's that good..
A	Allan Sherman on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Two of us enjoyed an early dinner at the Naruwan. It is billed as a Taiwanese Restaurant and the menu is different from what we usually see in New Zealand. It is similar to Szechwan, not the usual Cantonese. The restaurant was very large, comfortable, and well decorated. We enjoyed hot and sour soup, steamed buns, steamed lemon fish fillet, and stir fried beans with chili. There was lots of chili, but we like things spicy. We thought the food and service was excellent and we will certainly return when we have the opportunity. We learned that the restaurant has recently been listed for sale so it is reasonable to expect there will be changes. Note that the restaurant is closed on Mondays and Sunday evenings and closed between 2 and 5 pm.
