I don't want a bedside manner. I want someone who can assist to correct my health problems. If your happy to support Big Pharma go back to your Doctor and keep popping pills. I was very happy with him, what you missed he has a very deep connection with the anatomy, tunes into your body extremely well, explains each step and why, then like a car tunes you up to function more adequately. I will be returning.

I have been seeing Paul Hume for around 12 years and he has changed my life. I had multiple head injuries when I was young from falling on my head, diving into concrete, downhill mountain biking and martial arts (kickboxing and Aikido). Paul has put my body (head, muscles, fascia, tendons, ligaments and joints), mind and spirit back together so gently but so deeply and powerfully. I recommend many friends to Paul and recommend you see him too if you have tried everything else (or don't want to)

Paul is amazing, and very gifted at what he does. It's a pity only negative reviews have been shared as I know personally many people who he has helped, including myself and my children. Yes issues can return - but we have to look after ourselves and our diets too, it's not like you go in for one treatment and then blame a medical practitioner for getting sick again. We have to bring our kids back once or twice a year as any bangs or falls, or even stress, can trigger something new. If osteopathy is going to help someone, then Paul is the best you can get - he also trains internationally under the most skilled people in the world and is very passionate about his work. Yes he's quietly spoken and sometimes in the zone where he's not talking much, but who cares, when we are privaleged to have him right here in Hamilton. He has resolved numerous issues that we've had. Sometimes a health issue doesn't completely resolve - but just as a dr won't always be able to cure something with medicine, or a physiotherapist always being able to sort an issue - it doesn't mean they aren't good at what they do, just that it might not be the right treatment for that problem. We have seen Paul for numerous things and one or two didn't resolve - or returned - however the majority of the time we have noticed amazing improvements.

I have been going to Paul for over 15 years, he has been the only person to actually help me with my back issues, and without the need for medication and pills. Unlike most other practitioners Paul usually only needs to see you once, he doesn't try and convince you to book for further appointments unless you actually need them. Overall far more cost effective than trips to the doctor and subsequent medication costs. He is focused on patient care not increasing the bottom line, which is getting harder and harder to find these days. Paul is highly trained and extremely knowledgeable with an excellent reputation both in New Zealand and internationally. I wouldn't go anywhere else

Thank you “Josh Wright” and “K A” regarding your feedback comments on PAUL HUME and his Natural Healing Techniques as quoted ~ ‘Poor Bedside Manner Severely Lacking’ with ‘No Communication’ creating a ‘Very Uncomfortable Feeling the Whole Time’ has sprung a lot of factual memories for me regarding my experience at the healing-hands of PAUL HUME & His Equal Business Partner as giving 'NO Informed Consent, NO bedside manner, NO inter-social manners, Various forms of abuse with Sanpaku (3 eye whites below porthole spectacles), Poisoning from his Bio-herbals medicine, Extreme intensifying nerve pain from his self-proclaiming great Cranio-Sacral Therapy to which I had To Pay PAUL HUME (at Professional High $ Session Fees for 3 full Clinic Sessions) to fix-up that, to which he never fixed in first Clinic Appointment’. Note: those so-called Professional Healing Practitioners could get away with such Healing Crimes back in the 1980s decade. No WWW Internet back then and anyone could call themselves a Naturopath, Homeopath etc i.e., No Medical Practice Licence Number back then for those so-called PAUL HUME type Natural Healing Practitioners back in the 1980s & 90s decades. But I trusted them (PAUL & LINDA HUME) because they came from a New Age, Natural Healing, Spiritual Profession while Living that Lifestyle .../ PAUL HUME also being a qualified vitalist Eclectic Natural Healing Practitioner - Continually failed to “primum non nocere” (“firstly do no harm”) to and for the Customer/Client paying Professional High $ Fees. PAUL HUME hardly spoke, when he so, he talked-down and AT YOU. LINDA HUME being the 'personality' of the couple - always centre stage and always on her dictates - both PAUL and LIND HUME only talked about themselves, always. During the rare 'Reply' from the other person in conversation LINDA HUME replied with sarcastic verbal clips, while PAUL HUME would remain stone cold silent, but his look gave another communication. More often LINDA HUME would suddenly scream-out a finger-pointing accusing verbal response. LINDA HUME while at their Clinic Reception would surprise the paying Customer with their ‘George Ohsawa and his Macrobiotic DIET Belief’ – I included. However I arrived early for my first consultation with PAUL HUME and witnessed the previous male customer about to pay his Fee, when LINDA HUME suddenly started prophesizing ‘Ohsawa and his Macros’ to him – the Customer soon had an extra $1.50c (1986) added to his Clinic Bill, and given a small glossy pocket-size booklet (a summary) on ‘Macrobiotics’ to exit with - same happened to me within an hour later. Note: now days, no one ever talks about George Ohsawa and his Macrobiotic Diet. Same with Japanese people I've spoken to. My PAUL HUME Case includes his Equal Business Partner LINDA HUME (I only discovered that fact recently) during their "Spiral Natural Health Clinic" from 1986 to 1990. Also includes a close family member who consulted PAUL HUME from 1987 to 1988. Starting at their Hamilton Victoria Street (South end) upstairs pokey two-room Reception & Clinic. Now onto their Post Glen Afton Coal Miner’s Shack-House and into the 'His & Hers' Hamilton Forest Lake Road-House (“Willow” died there) & CLINIC spare-bedroom (the “Gloss II & III” TV period years) right next to the roadside and with a Customer mini-circular driveway parking. Not long later, there's a surprising location shift 'To ~ The ~ Country' and a leap towards the 90s decade at the Annebrook Road Tamahere for Another-Property-Investment-Profit-Time. I believe that PAUL KENNETH HUME (OCNZ Reg No: 2200100) was Practising as an OSTEOPATH before his Official Qualification (Diploma in Osteopathy) “YEAR 1988”. I began consulting PAUL HUME from 1986. As did a Family Member around 1986 and up till 1988. I currently (14/08/2021) do not know PAUL HUME’s exact Date of ‘D O’, only the ‘Year 1988’. The Osteopathic Council NZ (OCNZ) list PAUL HUME becoming qualified to Practice as a “Scope: Osteopath” in 1988. The Family kept me out of the loop there; that Family Member only disclosing that PAUL HUME is sending the F M to a woman GP in Te Awamutu. Years later I learn a $2,000 dollar Champion Juicer was paid by the Family and imported from the USA on direction given to the Family Member by PAUL HUME. He was out of his depth there – the Family Member became ‘terminal’ and willingly came under the care of Allopathic Medical Professionals. The Family never mentioned the name ‘PAUL HUME’ again. On a Wednesday evening, 13 December 1989, I visit P & L HUME at their Hamilton, Forest Lake Road House due to their pestering demands for me to repeat a cheap Mate’s Rate (P & L Hume being 1-way ‘friends’) Plumbing and Drainlaying job for them. Surprisingly Building two units, a Clinic and House on a large bare paddock in Annebrook Road. I had already arranged another Tradesman to do that job, who I introduced to P & L Hume on Friday night, 29 September 1989. I inform PAUL and LINDA HUME that my close Family Member had recently died. Both sitting one-pair apart, eyes forward (for a ‘Gloss III’) reply in stone cold statue silence. So much for their personas in ‘We are above Allopathic Practitioners’. In 1991 a Neighbour informs me that their Best Friend got a Practising Homeopath to treat their sick dog. The Homeopath’s treatment killed their dog. I ask “Who is the Homeopath?” ~ “PAUL HUME” my Neighbour replied with notable angst. PAUL HUME never disclosed that He is a FULLY QUALIFIED and CERTIFIED PRACTISING HOMOEOPATHIC VETERINARIAN. No “H P C A” (Health Practitioners Competence Assurance Act 2003) back in the 1980s - 1990s decades to police and protect the paying Clients from such Natural Healing Opportunists operating behind their fascia of Craniosacral and related subserous practices.
