β β β β β I always like getting a hot venison pie in winter from the Alpine Store then going to visit the lake. It begins snowing in late May/early June and after that is the best time to experience the majestic beauty of this park

β β β β β It is a huge sized park. Lake Rotoroa, Kerr bay, Lake Rotoiti etc includes in it. All are free of charge to visit. Recommend it to enjoy an evening with ur loved ones, boating. Lake Rotoroa has got a camping site as well. Network coverage it on and off. So, dnt expect it. But at Lake Rotoroa, no network coverage available.

β β β β β We climbed Mt Robert. Well maintained track. We took the pinchgut track up and came down on Paddy's track. Exposed in some places so take appropriate gear
